Road Haulage (National)
The CPC is a qualification required by law for anyone applying for a Goods Vehicle Licence, or for staff with the responsibility for the control of goods vehicles. To demonstrate professional competence candidates must sit formal examinations with OCR, including completion of a case study scenario.

- Financial Management - Commercial Routines - Taxation
- Operator Licencing - Safe Loading
- Plating and Testing Methods of Operating
- Vehicle Costing and Selection - Construction and Use Regulations
- Drivers Hours and Records - Driver Licencing
- Traffic Rules - Fleet Inspections and Roadside Checks

The OCR Examination
Road Haulage (International)
The CPC is a qualification required by law for anyone applying for a Goods Vehicle Licence, or for staff with the responsibility for the control of goods vehicles. Anyone wishing to operate goods vehicles outside the United Kingdom must be in possession of an International Certificate of Competence.
To demonstrate professional competence candidates must sit formal examinations with OCR.
Before the award of a CPC International certificate, candidates must be in possession of a CPC Road Haulage National qualification awarded after June 1999.
